Short stay car park

This car park is located a short walk from terminal entrance and is ideal for meeting family and friends and for short trips. 

The following facilities are available in the Short Stay Car Park:

Priority Pick Up

Drivers can pay £1 for 20 minutes to collect passengers from the Short Stay Car Park, close to the terminal building. Click here for more information on picking up passengers.

Special Assistance/Disabled

• A Special Assistance Call Point (linked to the service desk on the ground floor of the terminal)
• A shelter facility where customers can wait to be met by Special Assistance operatives 
• Vehicle pick up available from the shelter within the car park, for transporting customers to and from the terminal building

Car Hire

Approaching signs will direct all car hire and returns to the Short Stay Car Park.

The car hire area is adjacent to the car hire building within the Short Stay Car Park, and within this section the names of the car hire companies will be clearly marked on the bays.

Payment methods

There are different ways to pay for parking:

1: take ticket on entry and pay at the payment machines either in the arrivals hall or in the car parks when ready to leave the car park

2: take ticket on entry and pay at the NCP Customer Services Desk in arrivals hall when ready to leave the car park

3: take ticket on entry and pay at the barrier on exiting car park with credit or debit card

4: insert credit / debit card on entry into car park. This will act as your ticket. On exiting car park, insert same card which will then be debited for the charge
